Pluristem Innovations, LLC (Pluristem) is an early-stage stem cell therapeutics company based in El Cajon, CA.

Pluristems mission is to provide specialized products for expansion and differentiation of non-embryonic human stem cells as well as tracking of transplanted stem cells following transplantation.  A longer term goal is to provide unlimited numbers of therapeutic-grade human cells to treat diabetes, liver disease and neurodegenerative and retinal diseases through non-embryonic stem cell technologies. There are millions of people in the U.S. alone suffering from these diseases who are potential candidates for cell transplant therapy, but if the only cells available (as is the case today) are those derived from cadavers and donors, the ability of cell transplant therapy to reach those people will be severely limited.  Pluristems therapeutic program is designed to address that problem. Pluristem will soon launch preclinical trials to demonstrate the feasibility of using its proprietary protein delivery technology that has already been successful for ex vivo expansion of human hematopoietic stem cells for successful reconstitution of hematopoiesis in animal models.
